TR 970 .F6 1927) for our rare book collection. The book, compiled and edited by Louis Flader for the American Photo-Engravers Association, is a wonderful compendium of pre-depression era advertising. It&#8217;s a hefty book at 448 pages, and contains numerous essays on the history of the photo engraving, current techniques and processes, and its place within advertising. There is a wide range in the products advertised, everything from cars and clothing to dental equipment and cheese loafs.
